Marketers have seen a sudden rise in the sale of vegetable oil and
their seeds. Where the growth can easily be attributed to the healthy conscious
growing in the general public a lot can be credited to the immense discoveries
made by the food nutritionists.
But it is not only for the human beings who are getting benefited
from the vegetable seed and its by products a number of products obtained
through the main product are also used in animal feed and various products used
for animal care.
There are two basic uses of vegetable seed when it comes to
animals. The seeds as it is are fed to the animals. They are used in the fodder
but in a very limited amount and are known to increase the protein intake of the
animals. Other than the main use the same seeds are converted into soybean oil
which is used in various animal fodders such as soybean meal animals feed.
